About Gaddens

Gaddens: a New Forest Manor House

Gaddens is a beautiful manor house situated in the heart of the New Forest on the Dorset/Hampshire border. The house was built in the early 1920s and is of the Arts & Craft Period.

Gaddens is situated in grounds of over 17 acres with rambling walks from the house down into woodland. With deer and abundant birdlife, the gardens were laid out in the 1920s and comprise many rare trees from China with over 100 species Rhododendrons and Azaleas. Hidden pathways and huge trees make these grounds an adventure of a stroll, only a minute from the terrace.

Built in 1925 with a strong Arts and Crafts feel the house retains all of its original features from solid oak parquet flooring to a range of decorative fireplaces and surrounds.
